Frequently Asked Questions

Each ACC school is responsible for selecting the undergraduate team which will represent their university at the competition. The individual schools may use internal competitions, incubators, accelerators, courses, etc., to choose their representative team.
The final round of competition will be held on April 15, 2020 at 8 p.m. in Stewart Theatre on NC State's campus. You can watch the competition as a member of the live audience by requesting tickets on this website once the request form is active. You may also watch it live on Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) or your PBS affiliate, if available, and the show will be streamed live online.
The competition will be held on April 14 and 15, 2020. The preliminary round is on April 14, with the final round following on the evening of April 15. The final round will be aired live on television and streamed online.
The final round of the competition will be held in Stewart Theatre at NC State University. 
The organizers of the ACC InVenture Prize choose the final round judges based on their expertise and background.  They are entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, business executives, innovators or have related experience.  For the preliminary round, each school will be asked to select an alum of that institution to serve as a judge. These fifteen judges will choose the five finalists.
